Quad biking in Ras Al Khaimah puts you behind the handlebars of a 250cc, 350cc, or 400cc quad bike for a high-speed run across the emirate’s desert dunes. Children aged 9 to 12 ride a dedicated 90cc quad bike, and a BBQ buffet dinner is available on select packages.
A roundtrip hotel transfer takes you out to the desert site, with the full evening scheduled from around 5:00 pm to 10:30 pm depending on your pickup location. On arrival, a professional team runs through a safety briefing, fits your helmet and safety gear, and walks you through the controls before you set off.
Once you’re on the bike, the ride covers open desert track and rolling dunes for a 60 minute or 90 minute session, with an instructor riding alongside throughout. You can push the throttle for a faster run across the sand or hold a steadier pace along the flatter stretches, feeling the desert wind as you go. The terrain shifts between packed track and looser dune faces, so the ride changes character as you move further from the start point.
Children aged 9 to 12 take the wheel of their own 90cc quad bike, sized and geared for younger riders, and stay within the instructor’s sight for the full session. A water bottle and soft drink are handed out to keep everyone refreshed between runs, and full safety gear, including helmets, is fitted before anyone sets off.
Guests who add the dinner option end the ride with a BBQ buffet dinner, served under the open desert sky once the engines are switched off and the dust has settled. Rayna’s own team handles your pickup, the ride, and the drop-off, so you have a direct point of contact before, during, and after the evening.
